This is what love is.

It's been a hard couple of weeks for me. Memories like this make me smile. Babies are so magical, aren't they? Even if they aren't yours, babies bring so much love to this world & our hearts.

Upper Endoscopy

Tomorrow at Noon I will be undergoing an outpatient procedure - my second upper endoscopy. If you don't know what it is, I found a really good website that describes it very easily:  drjoycerichards.com

Here is a picture of the procedure:

Now, I promise you this procedure is NOT scary at all. So if you find yourself needing one (because of abdominal pain, reflux, heartburn, rectal bleeding... ect) don't you worry. The twilight zone makes you forget the entire thing! In fact it's basically like drinking a tiny bit too much but no hangover. :P

Unless you are like me and you freak out when you wake up under the twilight zone and then that's another case but..... yeah. Anywho! The nurses definitely have seen it all. I am pretty sure that I am on the records tho for screaming to the nurses that the Dr was a "LIAR" and didn't even do the procedure because he didn't find anything. And that Fibromialgia is NOT real because I say so!

BTW he did do the endoscopy.... just no biopsy so I was half right. right?  And Fibromyalgia DOES exist and it sucks and I apologized immensely to that nurse who just so happened to suffer from such a horrible condition.  And did you know I might have Fibromyalgia?

And did you know that I too want to be a nurse? Well, in case you didn't I said it. I am putting it out there for the world to know. And also, MY "quality of care" will be outstanding and will NOT include eating a bagel during the patient's trans-vaginal exam... and I will NOT yell at the patient for wanting her boyfriend in the room during such a weird and freaky experience.

and yes, those two bold & horrible things did happen to me and I was appalled and I DID let the right people know and those people got in trouble.  Also, I will NOT pull out a poor girls cathader when she didn't even know she had one. :( Gosh, I have horrible luck it seems!

And (for the millionth time?) I am going to a DIFFERENT hospital for this procedure. Never again, unless absolutely necessary, will I step a TOE in that horrible, good-for-nothing, excuse of a Hospital and *cough* it's Scripps in Encintas *cough*.

Wish me luck!!!!

How to grow a garden:

Strawberries and Sugar Snap Peas

So, I live by the beach and I am in my twenties. I am not rich, don't come from old money and I am not a Lawyer or Actress. So, obviously right now I am not living in my own house - I live in a cute apartment by the beach. It's two bedrooms, one bathroom (although I keep wishing it will multiply into a second one... LOL) and I love it! My apartment was lived in by the boyfriend for a couple years before I moved in. We've been together for over four years and we aren't in any hurry to get married. I am sick, on disability, and we want a kick ass party of course so we are waiting until 2012 to get married. Anywho... where was I?

Oh  yeah, So - I have an apartment but I want a garden. I have no green thumb tho. Even with all my ailments my thumb is seriously pale. Like Twilight vampire pale. In fact, my thumb is not good. I kill flowers but I can save weeds (and snails); however, I still wanted to contribute to my apartment "garden" of tomatoes and such.

See, I have the coolest and best neighbors ever. We hang out. Sometimes we have "frenchies" and now we have the "russians" right next door. In fact, one of the "russians" said that my plants WILL grow. And he KNEW they were strawberries. It must be a russian thing. :P

So, here are some pictures of me "growing" ie, planting my garden. In pots. Plastic cute pots. From Target. And the soil was $1.99. And I had to climb on top of a step ladder and unwrap the plastic from the cheap-o soil and TRY so hard not to destroy the bag of soil as it fell to the ground from my grasp. Geeze. No service at Target I guess.

P.S There are NO lady bugs in soil.... those are pellets. You should know. In case... you know that you want the cheap-o soil that the Target dude was sure NOT going to be just $1.99. And the pharmacist gave me the broken watering (plastic) can for a dollar and yeah.

Here are the photos.
Let me know what you think!

:)

This is my face before pursuing my gardening adventure. Mind you no sleep that night.

What you need:

Cute plastic pot, soil and Strawberry plant.

Boy sized potting gloves, spoon, and scissor.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Yes, messiness is a step....
Basically, you have to fill up the pot with soil half way and THEN dump the little original pot upside down and then turn it right side up; and then pack in the soil 'til it reaches the tippy top of the plant.
And yes - those instruction are from this little old lady fellow gardener at Target. :)

Step 4
Look at ALL my cute little dirt hand prints hehe!

Tada!!!

And then, this was me afterwards. Thanks body, you really rock!
Let's see.... I potted THREE tiny plants and that drains me? Thanks... really.

P.s Has ANYONE actually used these "watering bulbs?" Not, that I am THAT lazy (not working.... so, lots of time)  but..... they do look interesting.

I'm Officially Hooked!!!! On Twilight!

So, let me tell you that before today I never purchased a DVD for myself, EVER. I am not even exaggerating; however, after watching Twilight (for free during a sample-weekend of Showtime), buying and reading the Twilight Bookon my iPhone, I couldn't resist. And I wasn't looking glorious either. I was so desperate for my Edward & Bella fix that I went in my PAJAMAS!

D (the boyfriend) couldn't believe it. I asked him if he needed anything from Target (since he couldn't talk me out of buying it online for cheaper - he did convince me to go to Target since it was cheaper than Best Buy) and he did, water. Well, we needed water. Especially after this Earthquake ordeal we are going through - extra water couldn't hurt right? So, I bought three 24 packs of water, gluten free tortilla chips & TWO DVD's.

*shakes head*

Twilight (Two-Disc Special Edition)The Twilight Saga: New Moon (Three-Disc Deluxe Edition)

& yes, I did buy the "Three-Disc Deluxe Edition".....
heh, I figured since I was buying my first DVD
I might as well go all the way. I'm such a reble. :P

I am not even that type of girl! I don't believe in fairy tales and lustful teenagers never really sparked any kind of interest in me... but this movie just made me melt. So of course I would have to watch the second one right? Right? And I did. I bought The Twilight Saga: New Moon .Gee wiz! I don't even know how to turn on my DVD player but here I am buying a DVD? I had to ask D to show me how to work it (laughs). And this was after we got done cleaning up my mess......

While "trying" to clean the kitchen - I somehow was able to knock a diet coke over which knocked over my wine glass like dominoes. Before I knew it our wine glass was shattered all over the kitchen floor, CARPET and I am pretty sure it's in my shoes thrown under the couch. Eeek. That will be my chore tomorrow: Make sure no glass is in my shoes.

Don't worry. We usually wear sandals so the shoes are safe. For now. Also, don't worry I don't have wine all over the carpet - it was empty. And p.s I am NOT a lush haha. It was for Easter yesterday, I just didn't clean it last night.

I won't spoil the movie for anyone that hasn't seen it. But let me tell you, I am IN LOVE. IN LOVE! AHHHHHHHH! I wish it was real. haha How lame do I sound? Hopefully not. Hopefully there is another Twilight fan out there that isn't sixteen... Are you out there?

If you want to try the Movie out I would recommend it very much. But I think the Movie is better than the book - I like to watch Movies and then read the book. Weird huh? Because almost always, the characters I invent in MY head are always wayyyy different than those in the movie and it BUGS me to no end.  :P

And yes I decided to make my blog a All-sorts-of-things-in-my-life blog as well as Photography. :P

These are a few of my favorite pics

The bride was very carefree which made picture taking a lot of fun! The only difficulties were her trying to get her daughter from opening the gifts before the cards were read. Haha! She catered in Panda Express and had many yummy treats to choose from including a chocolate lava fountain and colorful cupcakes. Of course I had to munch on just the fruits and veggies because of my gluten intolerance but I was still having a fun time. It was kind of nerve wracking to see all of my relatives that I haven't seen in ages but as soon as I saw my great aunts I felt very comforted. Everyone remembered me and that felt good. The bride, Amanda, is gorgeous so taking photos of her was so easy. Her friends were very pretty too! It was so much fun taking pictures of them. Especially for the venue (inside a club house) the lighting was exceptionally good. It surprised me. I am used to my pictures looking way too yellow for my taste. I hope you enjoy these pictures! Let me know what you think. :)

I caught a secret kiss!

These two were so adorable.

MMM frozen bananas!

The obligatory picture of me and my younger cousin Bridget.

Everyone was glad that I caught this!

She was so adorable!

MMMmm! Little Tuxedo Strawberries. Almost too good to eat. ;)

I love this picture. My mom in the blue dress and my aunts and cousins.
